Cantine Briziarelli is a modern estate rooted in the heart of Umbria's Montefalco region. Established in the early 20th century, the winery combines traditional practices with contemporary techniques to produce wines that reflect the unique terroir of Montefalco. Their portfolio emphasises native grape varieties, with a focus on sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention in the cellar. A blend of 60% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, and 10% Sagrantino, this Montefalco Rosso exhibits a deep ruby hue. The nose offers ripe plum, violet, mint, and white pepper aromas. On the palate, it's full-bodied with earthy tannins and dark, spicy notes. The finish is balanced and persistent, showcasing the wine's structure and elegance.
